What is the CSAA False Alarm Online Training?

False alarms are a costly problem for everyone in law enforcement. Resources are already stretched thin and unnecessary police dispatches add extra strain, not to mention threatening those with real emergencies.

So how do local agencies respond? Some levy fines and/or deny service to those with chronic false alarms. However, these approaches don’t guarantee success and may compromise the service to the community.

The Central Station Alarm Association has the answer! We’ve created an informative online training course that teaches users how to avoid false alarms.

CSAA's online False Alarm Online Training course:

  • Is easy
  • Involves no administrative burden to your department
  • Costs local authorities nothing (Students pay $39.95)
  • Is the most effective tool available
Send those with chronic false alarms to school. Send them to www.csaaul.org, click on the "False Alarm Reduction" button and require them to take the course and show you the "Certificate of Completion". This is your assurance that they are aware of the causes of false alarms and how to eliminate them. Join the many jurisdictions across the country that are signing on to this innovative approach.
